Could someone give me an idea of era please ? Any idea on the surface pottery find please ? Title: Re: A FEW FINDS FROM THIS LAST WEEK Post by: Chef Geoff on February 12, 2012, 05:10:35 PM I'm afraid that link won't be of much use tracking your buckle down, It has an offset bar which points to it being a horse harness buckle and the curved edges put's it in the Georgian/Victorian era.

Please feel free to contact me and I will try to give you a lowdown. It is still an interesting area as surprisingly some of the recent cropmark enclosures excavated have been dated to the early sixth century. Outside of Hereford City totally unique for the County.
