Title: Gone fishing!
Post by: avalon on December 19, 2011, 09:17:09 AM
Went out detecting yesterday with a friend and this little fellow turned up. We think it's a silver pendant rather than a fishing lure.

Very pretty little fish. Somewhere at the back of my mind I remember jewelery like this. They were very popular at some time during my 67 years. Is it still articulated.?

Very nice find.

Well I can help narrow it down to 50 of those 67 Val, as I remember them too. The 1970 sound about right ;)

Yip even I can remember them, I bought one for my mother in the gift shop at Symmonds Yat park. Albeit the one I bought was  el cheapo silver plated and not solid silver.  That was in the late 70's on a school trip
