Found this while detecting  on the beach at low tide this week- haven't researched it yet any info would be nice

John Voss's Swansea (Glamorganshire) copper Conder halfpenny token dated 1796. Obverse: View of Swansea Castle: "SWANSEA HALFPENNY 1796". Reverse: Large key suspended on knotted ribbon: "JOHN VOSS DRAPER &c.". Edge inscription: "PAYABLE ON DEMAND", the rest engrailed. John Voss was a linen draper and mercer with a business in the Market, now Castle, Square, Swansea. He died in October 1818. Reasonable collectable condition from rusty obverse die, see photograph.

D&H Glamorgan No: 4. Diameter 29mm. F. £15.00

Brilliant work Tyna thanks for all the info its definatly the same  token. Nice to meeet you too Jassy I'm sure  theres a lot more good finds stuff lying beneath those sands .thanks for all the comments
