buckle
A part of a Shoe Buckle dated 1720 - 1790. Missing its pitch fork style tongue this is a Whitehead type VII that would have fitted to a Whitehead type 668 - 669 rounded Buckle. Found at a depth of 7 inches at Kinnerton in the Waltonbasin,Radnorshire Powys.
