 a lovely Sestertius of Marcus Aurelius struck under Commodus. AD 180
 DIVVS ANTONINVS PIVS
Marcus Aurelius seated on chair in shrine of a quadriga drawn by four elephants with drivers

next is Central disc from an early/middle Saxon composite hanging bowl with blue enamel remaining , next photo is one from Sutton hoo to show how fine it would have looked .

then a heavily silvered 14th century buckle

a zoomorphic  buckle , not sure if roman / saxon / medieval and cant decide if its a bird , a turtle or a wolf head .

was very happy to get my first bit of bronze age bronze last year in the shape of a spear tip , altho only the very tip its a find ive waited over 30 years for

2011 was an amazing year of finds for me and hopefully 2012 will be as good .
