hi guys just thought i wiuold share this story with you,,my eldest son works at a farm just outside leominster and even though i have permision to detect on there ,i havent got round to going as yet but the other night  the farmer tells me he has lost a ring in a field of his and can i come and have a look, the farm itself is 90 acres but the farmer assures me his ring is somewhere in a 50 metre square patch, so tommorow im going up there and also seeing what else is about...will let you know how i get on..

go for it my friend as you say you got permission anyway ,if you do find the ring the farmer will be over the moon he will be your friend for life ,and that could lead to more land of the farmers neighbours........... Wink...............GOOD LUCK PAULYWOW
