found by faymous again with her lucky explorer, all i managed was a pair of "Bench" designer glasses!!
Cant tell if ring is old or modern???

With all that black stuff it could be anything. Very unusual design though.
I had a round black blob the other day and quessing it was a cruddy coin I just hit it with a hammer. It worked a treat and out popped a shiney 2p. But I wouldn't recommend that sort of cleaning for Fays ring. Shocked Roll Eyes
All you need is some Sunshine and you're set Jan. Grin

funnily enough thats what ive been doing this morning, black blob bashing!! they can hold some interesting bits and bobs sometimes! so far had 2 modern pennies, an old button,  little cufflink and the remains of a chain.... i do like the blobs, bit like kinder eggs dont u think?Huh lol!!
