I was given a Whites I D X pro detector today free of charge by a jeweller who repairs all my broken gold and silver. All he asked is that
it should be used. He bought the detector over 10 years ago ,used it once ,then took it apart and put it in his garage and it still looks like new.
Now for the bad news......... He recently dug it out of the garage for me and seems to have mislaid the  middle and lower piece of the stem. I know it's a long shot but does anyone have a stem off one of these detectors laying around that they'd like to sell or does anyone know where I can get one? or will the stem off an xlt, dfx, etc fit ?

I'm pretty sure the idx used the standard Whites stem system so getting one should be pretty simple Wink

It was never meant to be a top flight machine but is surprisingly good and I'd be more than happy to have one as a backup nice and easy to use on dry sand and unless you have high mineralisation it's respectable on all sites Wink

In that case I think I'll keep it as a backup
