I am shocked as to how this did not end up in one of our museums?? Why oh why did they not want this?? It is quite sad actually, it will now probably sit locked away somewhere appreciated by very little few to nobody, so apart from the money, in my opinion then it was a pointless find.

Nice one Kev - I remember reading about this find in The Searcher and presuming it was going to be claimed as Treasure! Just goes to show that in the current climate nothing is certain. Roll Eyes
