I live in Cam which is in the Cotswolds not very far from The Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust. I've been detecting for about 12 years and am a member of 2 clubs, my wife also detects and has just joined the club based in Hucclecote Gloucestershire. My best finds to date include 2 Saxon Pennys of Aethelred II & a really nice Henry I profile penny (Pictures are in my gallery). I'm married and have 3 children, Jessy aged 26, Becky aged 21 and Jamies aged 16. We met a couple from Cam when we were on holiday abroad many years ago, Jill and Wilf Jones, don't know if you know of them. Sadly Wilf died several years ago, but we still keep in touch with Jill.
