Its has been difficult this year acquiring land for rallies. However we have managed to secure 140 acres of pasture in prime Roman/ Medieval settings.

Please state when signing up if you are attending on the Saturday, Sunday or both days also whether you wish to camp and attend the BBQ

eg Both days, camping and bbq

It is looking very likely that we will be camping en farm as they have a small campsite. Prices will be posted up as soon as we discuss further with farmer

We will be having a token hunt with prizes on the Saturday
A BBQ which will be Bring your own food and drink
Two gazebo's for shelter (please bigxhoni  ;D)

We will also be inviting an FLO for id'ing finds.

This will be a DetectingWales.com members only rally and I'm afraid everyone attending must be over 16 years of age. Usual terms and conditions apply. Everyone who attends does so at their own risk and we recommended that everyone has civil liability insurance. If you are a member of a club you will probably already have this. Please check.

The location of the rally will be sent by private message to everyone who has signed up the day before the rally.



Entry is  £7 per person, per day. pay on the day.

Sorry Rob after reading GJH post I realise that I have already sent of a cheque for the Cotswold Rally. I have removed my name. I also see that it is the same weekend as the Weekend Wanderers bash. Might be a conflict with a lot of DW members usually regulars at the WW big rally. Just a thought.

i also forgot about the WW ralley..i have removed my name also !!

Put the dates in my calendar, so depending on work hoping to attend. Incl BBQ   :)

I live in Cheshire but spend a lot of time in North Wales. So it's a bit of a drive then diging gold all day could be hard work  ;)

As this will be my very first rally,

what am I missing from this pic ?

Spade is in car, as are boots.

Food is there in the form of a Ration pack (MOD) but will get more, ie: Hot Chili Burgers (homemade).

Spare clothing and wash kit will go in bergan.

Ex army see... bound to forget something  :-\

I aint bothered about detecting friday just the local scrumpy cider.

Hi just wanted to let you know that I will still be saying for Saturday, Sunday and Barbecue, but will not be camping as i previously stated as I  will now be travelling down with my Brother and Sister in law in their Camper van, "Just in case space for tents is in short supply"
