acquired this lovely crown a while ago , opinions to whether its a proof or not , the fields seem polished but wont show up to well in the photos , any thoughts  Undecided Undecided

and yes it is for sale if anyone is interested ( Dylan , I wont take £12 scrap value before you ask  Wink Wink )

It's a nice coin Mike, but I think I'd want to see it in hand to see if it was a nice as you have said it is (aside from being very sharp).

I did a quick search on the net and have attached a picture of a proof 1887 crown for comparison.

Beautiful Crown Mike, but don't think it's Proof. The edge is all important, and sadly yours looks a little below Proof.

As I was looking at the above pics. I thought, I'm sure I've got a coin with that design on it somewhere.  Luckily it was in the obvious place (a one off for me)  and yes it is the same.
It's in very fine condition but mine is George V1 1951  is it worth anything these days ?

It's worth about a fiver judging by the examples on eBay - but it has a few Edge knocks (E/ks) and it's been cleaned with something scratchy.
