Well after collecting my etrac I was itching to get out, soo wet gear on and onto Rhos point beach by the shipwreck. Two hours later and covered in snow I had 21 lead weights, a 8inch nail in wood looked old, 20p coin and frozen face with icy snow in the beard.
It was good fun and can't wait to go out again and again. I'm well hooked.
I must say it has great depth detection, I was digging lead at about 14inches in wet sand.

Went out for round 2 today for a few hours in a little wooded area I have permission for.  Well I found 6 empty shotgun shells, a zip, and a few nails and a weird lump of iron which looks like a foot off something! Weird, gonna clean it up anyway but already know it's junk. Haha.

really do have fun but do need some help on what to dig n what not to.

Loving it though.

Dig everything for the first few weeks, will help you learn the tones and numbers, best way.

Best do as Hotmill said to start with. You'll soon learn what not to dig. Then it's a matter of opinion as to what you might miss by not digging it. Roll Eyes

Been back out for a few hours today and found another heavy lump, it looks like some leg support off.something, maybe a old fire hearth! Not sure though. Was a very random find.

If only I could upload from my android phone.

Well hopefully tomorrow shall bring me something good...
