Title: Re: Medieval Seal Matrix Found Post by: reiver on July 15, 2010, 06:58:28 PM Visit Detecting Scotland and you can chat to davie in person.He's one of the moderators on the site.As for Dr Mikes comments,they border on slander.It is'nt a Doctorate in Archaeology he's got.Or he would know they done a excavation of the site and discovered,the Torcs were situated on the inside of a round house type structure.Post holes,cooking pits and other finds.The matrix came from an area steeped in history.He's also found quite a few hammerds and other medieval finds.A more honest guy,you couldn't meet.If you have the right land and the luck that goes with detecting,it's a bit of a bummer,when people doubt your integrity.
