Hi me old muckers, hows life treating you all south of the Yorkshire border ?

Ive been up here in East yorkshire 17 months now, new house,new job and a serious lack of Swinging !!!! Wink ive been out 3 times and one of them was with the yorkshire searchers, unfortunatley i think all the history where i am has washed away with the cliffs of the east coast and is over a mile out in the North sea. The old Explorer II just hangs in the Garage shouting obsanities at me everytime i go to the freezer!!

I nearly sold up twice but there is a voice in my head that keeps stopping me!!!

I keep checking in now and then in the background scanning your finds and its good to see you all, old and new keeping the hobby alive.

Morning Nick you bandit! lol Down here it always sounds as if Yorkshire is crammed with the stuff, Viking swords and helmets virtually jumping out of the ground at you. You'll have to make a visit back to civilisation soon Wink

How u keeping,hope the L.H.G and K are well?  Bobs on the euroace now and
I'm on the AT Pro but you wouldn't think so if you peered into our finds boxes lol. A visit is definitely in order and Als suggestion of the 2 dayer would be excellent.

Which part of East Yorkshire are you in?

My  in-laws are just over the border in Darlo - and I've managed to get my brother-in-law to get permission once or twice - Swaledale-wise, although my mother and father in law think that metal detecting is evil so won't help me with permissions when I visit (from Cardiff).
