Finds from day one included:
At least 11 hammered coins, 1 gold coin, 1 silver roman denarius, 1 bronze age gouge, 2 seal matrices (one bronze, one lead), 1 beehive thimble, 1 silver ring and lots of milled silver.

More to come tomorrow...

Thanks for posting the pictures stig. Some great finds there, the Republican denarius was my favourite, along with Steven King's Bronze Age gouge. Neil took a picture of this so it'll appear  soon I guess.
