WELL WE WENT TO THE RALLY TODAYBUT UNFORTUNATLY  MY NEW TECTOR HADENT ARRIVED  THERE YET  SO  BORDERFOX GAVE ME A LOAN OF HIS SPARE ONE ,,,,,,,,,,  SET OFF WITH MR FOX  AND SOON GOT  2 BUTTONS ,,, NOT  GREAT CONDITION BUT  THEY WERE FINDS ,,,,, NEXT WAS A SILVER RING BROKEN BY THE PLOUGH  BUT STILL IN NICE CONDITION  I WAS TOLD IT MAY BE  18TH CENTUARY   Huh ,,,,,,,,, ANYWAY A FEW MORE BITS AND BOBS  BUTTONS  ETC TURNED UP  THEN AFTER LUNCH  MY TECTOR TURNED UP ,,, I LITERALLY  WALKED  10 FOOT  WITH BORDERFOX  AND COLLEGWENT AND GAZZA   WHEN UP CAME MY FIRST EVER ROMAN COIN ,,, CHUFFED    Grin Grin Grin
I HAD A FEW MORE SCRAPS  AND CALLED IT A DAY AS IT STARTED RAINING SO WE ALL WENT BACK TO THE CARPARK FOR A CHAT AND A LAUGH,,,,, LOVELY TO SEE SOME OLD FACES  AND SOME NEW ONES TOO ,,,,,
MANY THANKS TO BORDERFOX FOR KINDLY LENDING ME HIS MACHINE  AND TO  GAZZA ,,, MR  FOX   AND  PHIL ,, COLEGWENT  FOR ALL THEIR HELP IN SETTING THE NEW MACHINE UP AND SHOWING ME HOW IT  WORKED ETC ,, Wink Wink Wink
ANOTHER GREAT DAY ,,, GOOD MATES ,,, AND GREAT FUN   Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

if u want me to take alook at it, feel free to send me a good photo of the reverse, and then obverse. i need as much detail of reverse as possible.

the constantine period lasts 50 yrs, with constantine 1, 2 3 plus others to choose from

the roger reece book -roman coins of britain is a good resource

LOL- sorry to hear about the car problem - my B-i-L is a mechanic  [close to jct 18 of M1] - if u can drive the car up here he'll repair it!,
