Hi all
Had a few hours out tday few georgian coins and 1966  sixpunce and then this gold posy ring still gobsmacked to say the least, According to my scales it is 7 gramms, thanks for looking.

That's lovely that is - I'm just amazed at how many seem to have been lost....

When I see post rings like this I'm reminded of my own wedding ring which has an inscription on the inside.

My wife being economical with her own money bought me a second-hand Argos special in an antique / ring place over the road from the church we go married in (St Cuthbert's in Darlington). Originally it said 'I love you' in it, but as it was a bit large, I had to get it sized (although I don't wear it at the moment, as I've now got too fat to wear it). Unfortunately the people sizing the ring (they had to take a section out) weren't too careful and they cut some of the legend. So, now it says 'I owe you'........

well done deadlock thats superb mate.i have only ever found one,at orcop,i was liz 1st but was silver with gilding.your find is an absolute beauty,well done mate i bet you nearly fell over. Wink Wink Wink
