Had another couple of hours on the "done to death" field in my break yesterday. Nothing much came up other than some buttons, buckles and an Officers shoulder pip which all had positive signals and so had been missed, then came an on edge 1948 sixpence with a well dodgy signal which I thought was going to be my lot. But as seams to happen soooooooo many times, as I was on my way back to the gate out popped what probably ranks as my most favourite type of coin; a Medieval French jetton from the mid 1400's. More years ago than I care to remember this was the first medieval coin I ever found.

Nice Jetton Cheffy - just goes to show as we have discussed many a time - a field is never done!

cheers
