Back to a bit of pasture today for a few hours in between a few showers this is what I managed. The tatty hammered came up on last dig....pheww.

That's a weird and wonderful mix of finds for you Paul. What is that lethal weapon in the middle ? I thought it might be part of a buckle but maybe not.
At least you made the effort to get out and give it a try. I think I've broken the habit  ::)

Well done there PAUL,super selection of finds.I think that the "Spikey" thing is the tang off a very early dinner fork by virtue of the two prongs.well I suppose it was a big step up from putting a knife up to the mouth all the time !!. LOL ..😁
Also got the same button last year,never found out it's origin. ???

The weapon/ dinner fork is the spacer from a single loop buckle guys, c1350-c1450. This site has produced lots of these over the years ocassionly complete....  ;) ;)
