found yesterday along with 3 coins which at first i thought were williams but now not so sure, also had 24 buttons lol and two tiny buckles. This coin is silver and i think its german, i have goggled it and found loads similer to it but nothing exact, im looking at Albert fredrichs roughly 1799 the coins are called THALERS  i think mine is a 12 thaler. Description reads ... 12 EINEN REICHS THALER IDL, the ones i have looked at all have a date on them but cant see one on mine (buying a magnifying glass today lol). really would like to put a date on this one.

Hi geoff its silver tried the spit and silverfoil, my pics aint the best as i mucked about with them trying to show more detail but ive overcooked it. I have narrowed it down and looked at loads of coins last night but nearly all have the head of the monarch and a date under thaler, there are a few that has initials but not AF and even they have the date on them, im just interested in trying to date it as i found three other coins which at first i thought were william but now im not so sure they are in very bad condition though
