LOL Why should I know? none of my sweethearts were in the light infantry Cheesy
Not sure about the sweetheart bit but it's certainly the light infantry and given the red rose then I would say it's one of the Lancashire light infantry regiments (come on Doug you should have got that being a white rose man Wink) but further than that I'm not sure so I shall consult the books......watch this space Wink

No I've run out of pages Undecided the big problem is that all the Lancashire regiments I have a reference for have a C-in-C from the aristocracy and so have a crown or coronet on the badge and yous doesn't look as if it has anything missing from the top Huh
Unless someone else comes up with a positive id then it might be worth sending an email along with your picture to the Lancashire Infantry museum http://www.lancashireinfantrymuseum.org.uk/
