It WAS the way I was reading it. It said......Henry , 3rd Earl of Lancaster.
Considering I'm so keen on good use of English grammar I should have noticed the comma. Roll Eyes

So, that means Nobbys' coin is anything from 1216 to 1272. That makes it all the more impressive. What a beautiful coin.

That's a really nice coin Nobby, I do like the portraits on the voided long cross coins. I've got a nice one that I found last year, I will put up pics over the weekend.
