found last week  think its a mourning ring inscription says true till death its the hallmark thats got me stumped,the other object is a trade weight i think.

A brilliant find Colin, going by the sentiment I think it's more likely a poesy ring rather than a mourning ring as the death is referred to in the future tense rather than the past. My take on the marks would be 1792 (just to be awkward lol) but I think the I.V makers mark may be the clue.

1792 would fit in nicely with the George III duty mark, if that's what it is.
