Found this brooch/badge today while detecting the long awaited permission on the Estate Farm of Farmer Steve...it is has an enamel center and copper frame and dated 1951..and in very good nick considering anyinfo would be appreciated..

Well the central theme and the date refer to the Festival of Britain, but as to what relevance the bike has I'm not too sure. Wink

As Geoff said, it's a souvenir from the Festival of Britain 1951, but I don't know what the significance of the bike is either.
