There is no date to go on and it was found on a beach

Jim it looks to be the wrong colour for lead? old lead what's been in the ground for years goes a white ish colour, iv never seen lead out the ground look like that before....... Im not saying its not lead, as your the one with it in your hand, and anyone knows a bit of lead Smiley

I see its beach lead iv never did beach detecting before so it may well be Wink

Ther is nothing anywhere near this beach dale I found it next to an old ship wreck at the bottom of a rock pool if that helps at all

Cheers mate for trying to find out for me is there anywhere I could look or research to find out more about it I,m really intreaged as to wot it mite be or least get some back ground or a date of wen they were made

I've washed it dale in water and I also tryed vinegar but still no good I don't no how to clean lead
