Title: Henry Axford Trophy 2012 Post by: The Doc on September 02, 2012, 10:38:16 PM The inter-club competition between Cardiff Scan and RARE for the Henry Axford trophy was held on 2nd September.
I believe Byron may be posting a report as well, but I thought I would start the ball rolling. It was a very enjoyable day - well done to Gwilym for all your hard work, to Gerald for expertly burying the tokens, to Deb from RARE for saving the day by getting the barbecue started and then spending almost the whole day working in the 'kitchen', and thanks to everyone who attended. There were some nice finds, and ysbytymike's Henry VIII groat was judged to be 'Find of the Rally'. The Henry Axford trophy was retained by Cardiff, but I understand RARE have agreed to host the event next year.
