Title: Little Angel
Post by: Da Monkey on December 31, 2011, 01:05:50 PM
Any Ideas please ?  Found earlier this year by a friend on a field that produced a roman brooch for me the same day...  The hole at the bottom has a coarse thread in.

that's a bit different and cute too. Is the hole at the top or bottom and is it solid or hollow?

I liked it, unfortunately I didnt find it LOL, its a friends find, I was hapy enough with my brooch though LOL.

It seems pretty solid, but has the hole in the base Chef, nice patina as well, photo doesnt do it justice really...

I found something similar last year, took it to FLO who said it was a 17th / 18th century apothecary spoon terminal, mine was in the shape of a cupid type figure.

Thanks for the thought Herbie, I did think knife handle when I saw it, but never seen one like it myself, I'll pass your suggestion on :)
