well of to barmouth this weekend with the in-laws and hopefully next weekend just me and the wife, so hoping to get out on the nearest beach, probably dyffryn ardudwy, so any hints, tips and advice would be much appreciated.

Not been to Barmouth beach for ages but it was always hard going at the top, well hammered. So try further out towards low tide. Had quite a bit of success at Talybont, north of Barmouth though its full if bullets, many live. Never tried Shell island but heard good reports.

yeah i think the motocross and quad bikes are on the beach at barmouth this weekend, which will be interesting to watch,  so will probably try more towards the talybont end if i can.
