It's 6cm in diameter, so quite big. I am guessing the decoration on the left and right hand side is a Rams head? The centre is dark from enameling I am sure, and as for the top centre decoration, have no idea what that is meant to represent.

This is only a generalization but looking carefully & after careful scrutiny of the picture, i can confirm that without a shadow of doubt & uncertainty it is definately most probably possibly a "Binit" ............. maybe !  Roll Eyes

yes that's my guess to, it took a while to reach this inconclusive conclusion but yes it is indeed a Rare "Binit"

What metal is the main body of this made of? If its bronze it might be a horse brass.

Looks like a ladybird between two rams heads.

I tend to agree with Eric that it's likely to be a horse brass.

Would have been mounted on a leather strap and fallen off.
