Hi all, sorry I'm a bit late with this post. Well the second meeting took place on the 7th December and three new potential members turned up, it may have been due to the weather but there were only five people present, we will have our next meeting and see if things improve, the next meeting will be 1st March 2011. See loads of you then.......I hope!

march the first it is then, and if everybody turns up who say they gonna turn up we might b on our way to getting things going. In the mean time though get ur thinking caps on for a site where we can hold a club dig.

p.s  the club requires a treasurer/secretary and also a rally/dig co-ordinator , so if anyone wants to consider any of the posts let us know

I'll try and make the next meeting.
A suggestion for a rally. What about the shore in Anglesey.
The place I have in mind is obviously free, it  has a motte 'n bailey inland, a hollow way going from the shore to the castle. There's a ruined friary on the coast too. The romans landed supplies here for their fort nearby. All this along a mile or two of shore. Even if we find nothing, its a chance to meet up. I can give a a lift from Rhyl area
PM me for the exact coordinates.

Hi Anne,
Nearly missed you, tucked away in that thread. Welcome to the site. Seems tecting is getting more feminine, nice to know there are more lady tectors out there.
Not likely to meet as I live by Tenby S/W Wales, a long way away. Great site to join, lots of help if you need it.

Happy hunting
