i'm not surprised that many are thinking of leaving the job after the past year we've had.

With the extreme cold and very wet weather, quite a few who were hoping for a spring sowing, haven't been able to get onto the fields, which means a reduced harvest [and expensive prices next year], before the next sowing in september.

So, do bear a thought for your local farmers, be supportive and appreciative of the difficulties they are facing.

Cheers for that tit-bit of news re. the weather Al. I really wanted to know we might get snowed in next week-end.
It's so sad to hear about the lambs. Takes me back a bit. We often used to have that happen. Been lucky last few years with milder conditions.
