Author Topic: Transport plans for Sunday's club dig ( Not a Detecting Wales dig )  (Read 5755 times)

Hi folks,
on Sunday morning I will pick up Richie, Chris, and Jason. Hopefully, we will all operate with a change of footware so that we don't bring half a field into the car after the dig. It would also be helpfull if we all pop the muddy spades and coils into plastic bags. This way I get to use the car for the next club dig.   Roll Eyes

At present, our biggest problem may be the weathher. In the event of heavy snow falls and icy roads we may have to rethink the plans for the day! Any ideas?

Due to the lack of replies, I will assume that the dig is off. Richie and I will come up with alternative plans. Maybe see you chaps at the next dig.   Smiley

Richie and I are going to try the beach at Talacre again. It may be cold but the digging should be easy. Any one fancy joining us? It wont cost you a fiver! Smiley

Take a carrot each and a few lumps of coal as well, so at least when they find you they can turn you into snowmen  Smiley

Carrots, no problem but as for coal, don't you know that the rich and powerful closed the pit at Talacre; we would have to import the blooming stuff.

You boys are heroes if you go out on Sunday. You deserve plenty of gold and silver for dedication. See you when it warms up.
