Had a brilliant day out with Steve (Hedgehog) today.
Steve very kindly invited me out for a days detecting on one of his Roman sites, and a very nice site it was too.
I had a couple of lucky finds,a very nice Republican Denarius,Bronze as,and another as yet unidetified coin (at the time we thought it might be a possible Denarius, but i think you were right Steve it's beging to look as though its not, have'nt cleaned it enough yet but will let you know when i have).
Thanks again Steve.

It was a nice day, don't tell anyone I didn't find a damn thing  Embarrassed
It's a nice coin and great to have something in your hand that was made BC, did enjoy seeing the Red Kites and the Nuthatch too!
Didn't get away from the farmer until 1915hrs he just kept talking, lovely guy though.
