A Viking gold finger 1000ad found by a friend of  mine Colin Gough back in 1983 when we searching for a farm part
and he handed it me, untarnished after been in the ground for 1000yrs. I rate this as the finest artefact found on the

Rob that is a little beauty. Do you find a lot in such good condition as the soil looks very favourable on the Isle.

It was outstanding day for Colin Gough and myself. I have handled many fine objects since,but that one that sticks
out. Colin has passed on but his memory lives on with this fantastic artefact. Smiley Smiley Smiley
