I am a big fan of "Clod shots" - have a look in the Gallery there is a fair few of mine own.

I am going to add these to the folder tomorrow if you don't mind.

The best find has got to be what looks like a bronze age spear head,did you give it a rinse or wash in water before the photo was taken

Thats how it came out, the soil is dry and sandy, preserves the items in A1 grade.

I do enter, but my points don't count anymore. I'm the CHADS finds I.D officer, I can hardly talk my own items up, so I just take a back seat.
