out today with tafflaff and chef (geoff).to my favouret place..HEREFORD.. we met chef phones at our usuall place about 7.30am.ready for great days detecting. the first field we entered rob and geoff decided to bugger off down the field and leave me up the top.which is nothing unusually.lol. i think i hit a picknic area as id had 9 coins in about 15 signals..i was.nt gonna shout to rob or chef.lol. late afternoon we headed down the road to try a new farm out.when we got in the field i had to shot off.there where power lines above me..machines not fust on powerlines.lol. so i headed over the other side of the field.i started detecting towards one off the gates. where there were about 30 cows waiting to wellcome me.somehow i got rid of the cows and carried on towards the gate. and that when i had my signal of the day.lol. i dug down around 5 to 6 inches.and there stairing me in the eye.s was a beautyfull gold half sovereign EDWARD VII i was one chuft bunny to say the least. but what a great day out it was.until tafflaff lost his phone.2 miles away in the first field (plonker) lol. after we had found robs phone it started to rain quite heavy so we decieded to call it the day as it was 4.30pm anyway another great day with great company cheers boys great stuff . Great days detecting , good company had a silver sixpence and a wedge of coins ranging from Vicky to modern plus an unknown French coin will post up for the doc.
