Hi all sandpiper and i went out for a couple in the local wood the weather was really great. There were lots of 12g cartridge ends so we decided to hit the fields, sandpiper uncovered a four ended fob seal i think and i found an 1775 sliver carolus lll more info would be great doc if you r reading this. Can anyone tell me if the buckle in the pic is a shoe buckle or a book clasp. :)

Love the seal matrix! Nice to see some milled silver too! Always turn up something interesting in woodland if you've got the patience to dig all them cartridge ends!

Its a Spanish Charles iii  4 Reales Silver.  The mint mark is the monogram on the left hand side middle  of the reverse of the coin. Looks like iR  cant make it out though.
