pick these couple of fakes at auction buried in a job lot did make my heart miss a bit when first saw the George iv gold which was buried under the tray of a jewerly box also had a few others thinking with the scratches on coin faces

BM is that George IV a gilded silver shilling/sixpence and not a fake?

That was what i was thinking so tested with my cheep silver test and not clear, ran over a few detector and comes up as silver and same tone and numbers as another silver shilling so i think you re right dale,
Which is lucky as was going to sell in job lot so thanks for that Dale,  Dale this came a in a cracking lot at auction  which i got very cheap Wink

loads of fake artifact on ebay 90% of the ring are modern copys or mass produced european rubbish beware
