Title: May I make a suggestion Post by: Charles Cater on December 01, 2008, 04:18:10 PM It would be helpful if those that post photographs of thier fins in the gallery put something alongside the artefact to give us an idea of the size of the object. A coin of the realm would do. I assume that they are photographed and then put on the page.
All of my finds were photographed a long time ago and I no longer have them but I have put some sort of size at the bottom of the picture when I thought of it. Thank you. Some of the roman minim,s are hard to judge the size of so a Decinal coin or something like it would be a good comparison of the sizes regards Phil Jones Title: Re: May I make a suggestion Post by: Charles Cater on December 02, 2008, 09:52:34 AM OK , maybe that too, but as long as posters can recognise a size then that is ok.
An old half penny would do, for instance. No big deal though but it is diffiult to judge a size if there is nothing to compare it with. |
