lots --

hammered, fibula, coins - the works. but gosh it was a very windy day - but the scenery was magnificent.

it was great to meet the RARE guys n gals - thx byron, kane, ynys, and roman ray.

hope the journey home was a good one.

I had a another nice hammered Debbie, And two thimbles, I'll post some photos on our site later, I'm trying to i.d the hammered. i might just give up and ask Peter.
Loads of bullet heads and a couple of buckles.
How was the Scan Club Rally, The wife tells me it rained heavy this side of the bridge today.

well done on the hammered karl -- good to meet you today, albeit very briefly.

i got small fibula fragment, along with a 'testicle' buckle and the usual buttons and cartridge cases.

as handyman said it was windy.very windy.
my finds today are.a bronze roman pinhead.a bronze medievel buckle very small.
2 george 2nd pennys.

i had a bit of luck today found a few bits and pieces.dont usualy do this well at rallies. Grin
2 Hammies 1 broken.
2 Roman Grots
1 Token
3 coins worn
16th century clothes hook.
Gold/Gilded Thimble.
Broken roman broach.
usual buckles.
Lots bronze and lead bits

What the heck is a testicle buckle? I'm intrigued,
I had a couple of buckles, look like 1940 ish Army issue.

Well done guys - a good and varied haul.
We had great weather in Sully Karl - very windy, but dry.
Peter took photos of finds at the rally and Is putting together a rally report for the Scan Club - watch this space Smiley
