Thought I'd try a local beach tomorrow after all these winds (Swansea bay area) any pointers anyone as to what ones are most likely to be productive  Huh

Hi Tyna,

opposite st helens cricket club you will park here, you will see a big pipe going straigh to the sea if you detect around there where the dark sand is situated you may have some luck, few rings been find there and old coins , but becarefull of the seringue loads has been find there .Good luck and with a very strong wind well more chance for sure.Nap

Any idea if Aberavon is still producing - or any Gower beaches - Caswell, Oxwich etc.....  Huh
Pendine isn't out of the realms of possibility either if necessary  Huh

i second that.watch out for the syringes at swansea bay,but could be productive.i went to aberavon today for 5hrs and got a ring but dont know if it is gold.got some georgian coins too Smiley
