Title: Newbie , Bridgend Post by: kerton on September 29, 2015, 07:19:06 PM Good evening everyone . Im Karl from Bridgend , been thinking about metal detecting for a while . Well today my 1st detector arrived , to start off I have purchased a garret 150 . If I enjoy my new hobby I hope to buy a better detector . I intend to mainly search my local beaches , mainly because I love it down there . Maybe then search local areas(if allowed ) .If I do find anything I will keep you all updated .

Guys on this site are fantastic for information so always feel free to ask. Alot of them are very knowledgeable and will nearly always point you in the right direction. In started my detecting with a Garrett (ACE)great start up machine,and sometimes underestimated !!
