Ok here goes, this is my attempt  Grin

Henry V11 Groat standard type "F" facing bust  London mint
Class 111b as the crown has two jewelled arches and there is a pansy mark on reverse legend   Smiley

Well done all. You were all in the right area, with trys and mary being 100% correct in what they posted.

When you see a crown with a double arch like this on a facing bust groat or halfgroat, you can be certain it is Henry VII. His earliest ones have the old-style open crown, so are a bit harder to spot.

The mintmark was confusing, but it is definitely a pansy not a cinquefoil.

The crown has two arches both with jewels (just look like knobbly bits), and the hair is more realistic than earlier coins, so with that mintmark it is Class IIIb, Spink 2198A.

It was mis-identified as the much scarcer Spink 2198 in the American auction it was in, and failed to sell Roll Eyes
