Something different but shouldn't be too hard. Diameter 26mm.

Who is the monarch, and what is the denomination, type and mint?

You are there Steve, but doesn't look like you're certain.

It is indeed a Henry VI groat, Calais mint, Pinecone-mascle issue, 1430-34, Spink 1875.

Obviously, rare coins do turn up from time to time, but it's always worth starting with the view that commoner coins turn up more commonly.

The only monarchs to have issued silver coins minted in Calais are Edward III and Henry VI. For Edward III, Calais is the scarcest mint. Of 262 coins of Edward III on UKDFD, only one is Calais mint. On the other hand, Calais is the commonest mint of Henry VI. Of 162 coins of Henry VI on UKDFD, 96 are Calais mint.

Also, the Edward III coins read VILLA CALESIE, whereas Henry VI coins read VILLA CALISIE, or sometimes VILLA CALIS.

I have attached pics which highlight the pinecone and the mascle (the diamond shape)
