shortcross penny i think its 1 of the edwards .pity its not in better condition.
Intaglio i think it is roman got to get it checked on 22nd at rare club meeting .i know georgians and victorians used to remount roman intaglios they found

You did alot better than i did today,all i found was a pound coin,a musket ball & 3 unidentified,some good finds there Steve.

Artefact looks like an intaglio from late 18th or early 19th century. I may be wrong, but I think the stone is from that date rather than ancient.
