Hi all, new to the forum and as yet not actually detecting, I do have an old C Scope at the back of the under stairs cupboard which hasn't seen the light of day for far too long, anyway after a rally from a group of detectorists earlier in the year with some interesting finds it re awoke my detecting interest, so now I'm looking at getting myself a detector and starting up yet another hobby  Roll Eyes

I live near Brecon and I earn my money by looking after other peoples gardens,

not really sure at the moment, I like the sound of getting down on the beaches but I do have access to rather a lot of grassland and an interest in early history so maybe go along that road for now and save up for something more beach specific later on, nothing like a bit of forward planning  Grin

Welcome bro.
I'm just down the road from you in Ystradgynlais and I have two machines for sale. (If that's not blatent nothing is.. lol)
I'm in Brecon a lot as we keep our caravan in the Bishop's Meadow campsite and I have a few farms in the area.

Welcome to dw Mark. As you look after gardens for people in Brecon why not ask if you could try detecting their garden to get yourself back into things. I bet you will be supprised what you will find.  Wink
Great place in hear for a wide range of things.

Why not ask if they have lost any jewellery in their garden,could be a good starting place to detect. Smiley
