Title: Clock Winder Post by: Al.Thepastfinder, ( Alan ) on May 15, 2010, 04:10:12 PM I had to nip out and see one of my farmer's this morning, while i was there he told me he had a ploughed field there just seeded if i wanted to go on,
not one to miss an opportunity i went on, found some predec. and Georgian coppers but then this nice Clock key, i didn't have a coin to put alongside, but its two and a half inches long and two and a quarter inches wide at the top. Victorian Peter ?? couldn't find a maker's name when i washed it, Title: Re: Clock Winder Post by: coinhunter on May 15, 2010, 05:57:03 PM Well done alan nice key m8

Title: Re: Clock Winder Post by: Al.Thepastfinder, ( Alan ) on May 17, 2010, 06:56:57 AM Thanks Peter anyhow, i haven't been able to find one either,??? i thought it may be Victorian as it has that look about it and heart shaped stuff was in a lot in Victorian times,
not a barrel tap key either as the square hole in the bottom is too small, Thanks Again Peter Take Care Alan Nice one Roman Steve |
