Ive seen some barking mad prices, some as much as £750. As a newbie to this game I just wondered what detector you guys would say is the best on the market?

I have used many detectors and they all have good points and bad points and by the time you get through all the hype the choice is yours ;)

The one that suits your detecting style and the ground that you detect on, every detector I have had has taken a few months to master and you make mistakes initially.
So the best one on the market is the one you bought last and have mastered.
