the p.i machines are animals on depth.did a depth test with my puzzle ring and it gave a good signal at over 16''in wet sand but only time will tell if it out does the etrac,it will definatly out do it on the darker/more compact sand.
 weldone neil,good result ,nice little collier too .
 i found that double blips are hair pins with mine.mine also picks up bricks,green glass and coal ?

Thanks Neil. Of course small iron, nails etc will always give a similar signal to a coin, very precise and limited in area. Can't do anything about that. I agree, bricks and also some rocks on the beaches here in Mid Wales give reasonable signals. Once you've learned that though, its little bother. Some days I admit I  groan when I get yet another signal, mad I know. Good luck and persevere.
